The 18-channel FlySky Paladin PL18 EV with touch display and 4D joysticks is available from us in the exclusive German version.
The complete package consisting of wireless charging station, aluminium transmitter console, 12-channel receiver + additional 8-channel receiver in a high-quality aluminium case.

One thing is important for functional models - full control and this with a realistic operating scenario via ex works self-centring 4D joysticks (two rotary controls in the joysticks) which have been CNC-milled from high-quality aluminium, their own self-neutralising encoders on the sides for chain drives or drives with two propellers. (ergonomic and of course also made of aluminium), 2- and 3-position toggle switches, pressure switches (e.g. for hydraulic pump or light) and 3 rotary encoders (in addition to the rotary encoders on the 4D joysticks). In addition, the operating elements can be logically linked and thus utilised even more.

The PL18 EV really comes into its own when the capacitive touch display comes into play. You can bring the encoders to life via the simply designed user interface, which can be customised using gestures and where you can even determine the content of the main screen. The channels can be freely assigned to the encoders, as can the 8 trim sliders, rotary encoders and buttons. And to ensure that you always have a clear overview, the channel is even given the name you have selected - not the cryptic ‘CH3’ but ‘Spoon or windlass’ is displayed on the main screen, below the bar that shows the current position of the channel - full control! Trim, sub-trim, channel offset, curve setting and linear mixer are obligatory on the PL18 EV. The track mixer can be used to configure tracked vehicles or automatically switch on ailerons, and logic switches can be used to create logic links. A simple example: switch 1 on + switch 2 on = channel 3 on. In practice, this means, for example: Crane folded up, hook hooked in? Upper carriage can no longer be rotated! Supports at the top? Nobody can crane here!

Having just one model is no problem for modelling enthusiasts, and controlling 2 models at the same time? A daughter boat, for example? With the PL18 EV you can do this simply via the model combination. Change the model live using the 2-position switch, the passive model goes into standby using the programmed failsafe (in the transmitter, mind you, via touch display), and the other model with the encoder configuration assigned to it becomes controllable. 20 models can be saved with their own configuration.

All functions for model pilots are superfluous for functional models! For this reason, the PL18 EV has been designed without everything that a functional modeller does not need. No flight mixers, no assignments carved in stone. This system is only for lorries, construction machinery, tanks and working vessels such as tugs, pushers, floating cranes, dredgers and buoy layers!

The system has an interchangeable transmitter module with a longer range.
We are currently working on implementing a digital multiswitch function that will allow the system to operate the Futaba or Graupner PPM protocol. This will make it possible to use the old Mutli Switch modules.

With the 2 receivers supplied (1x 12-channel, 1x 8-channel), two options are possible - either remote control 2 models or one model with up to 18 channels - the receivers are coupled to form an 18-channel receiver. The large receiver serves as a PWM converter for the small one via i-Bus, i.e. channel extension.
