AKL-10-W Terminal Block

The AKL-10-W terminal block was specially developed for the USM-RC-2 sound module, the EXM-2 expansion module and the UFR series speed controllers to facilitate connection of the switching outputs. As a special feature, there are 10 slots for series resistors on the AKL-10-W terminal to facilitate the connection of LEDs. The AKL-10-W comes with 10 resistors each with the values 0 Ohm (only 1 black ring), 150 Ohm (brown, green, brown, gold) 330 Ohm (orange, orange, brown, gold) and 680 Ohm (blue, grey, brown, gold). Switching outputs 1 to 10 of the sound module, switching outputs 13 to 22 of the expansion module, or outputs 1 to 8 of the speed controller are available on a spring-loaded terminal block. The AKL-10-W can be plugged in directly with the ribbon cable on the sound module on X3. With the eriteration module, the ribbon cable is plugged into X13. For the UFR speed controllers, the ribbon cable is plugged into X5. The outer brown cable must always point to the center of the board, the black cable to the edge of the board. The lighting in a model can now be wired in a simple way via the terminal. Only the positive pole of the supply voltage must still be led to the LED or lamp. For this purpose, terminals 11 to 16 of the AKL-10 can be used as a distributor for the positive pole. When connecting to a UFR speed controller, terminals 9 and 10 can be used as the positive pole. However, to do this, 0 ohm resistors must be plugged into slots 9 and 10. By using a jumper between terminal 10 and 11, terminals 12 - 16 can also be used as a positive terminal.
