The sound module is suitable for all types of models with standard transmitter. With the software USM-RC-3 Sound-Teacher each model can be designed with sound, light and servo functions according to your own ideas. All settings are stored on a standard micro SD card. With a Windows PC, an SD card reader and the Sound-Teacher software, the settings can be changed at any time.
For an authentic sound of the model, sounds for the following areas can be selected on the sound module:
-Driving and engine sounds for up to two engines (speed-dependent).
-Additional sounds (e.g. horns, hydraulic and compressed air noises, etc.)
-random sounds (e.g. chain squeal, animal and ambient noises etc.)
A total of over 700 sound files and 140 completely finished sound projects are available for a wide variety of model types. Your own recordings can also be used with the USM-RC-3.
For sound output, one (optionally two) loudspeakers can be connected directly to the sound module. Up to four sounds are played back in parallel in a sound quality of 44.1 kHz and 16 bit. An integrated powerful amplifier guarantees optimal sound quality.

To realize various lighting effects, the USM-RC-3 has 12 switching outputs to which LEDs, lamps and relays can be connected, for example. Light functions such as low beam, back-up light, brake light, turn signals, warning lights, flickering lights, etc. can thus be easily realized and controlled. All light functions can be activated or deactivated automatically according to sound and movement.

With two additional servo outputs, movements such as windshield wipers can be coordinated with the sound being played. The setting of the servo functions is also done in the USM-RC-3 Sound-Teacher.
Various accessories are available for easy connection of the USM-RC-3 sound module and for expanding the functions, such as connection terminals, battery Y-cables and light modules for forwarding the light signals to a trailer.
