Schonner Flying Fish Mini Mamoli

The two-masted schooner ‘Flying Fish’ was launched around the middle of the 19th century and was primarily used as a merchant ship, but also for fishing. With its sleek hull and impressive sail area, this elegant ship served as a model for many shipbuilders of the time. For many years, the ‘Flying Fish’
was considered one of the fastest ships of its kind and proved to be an excellent investment for the shipping company: the schooner was able to deliver its cargo to its destination in a much shorter time than its competitors and was therefore in great demand.

The pre-milled solid wood hull makes it particularly easy to assemble right from the start. The precise construction drawings on a scale of 1:1 ensure an excellent overview and comprehensibility - there are no misunderstandings or questions! In this way, ship modelling is also accessible to children and beginners because it's simply fun! And yet, at the end of the day, you are proud to have a model that really deserves its name, as it is made exclusively from fine natural wood with brass fittings and no plastic parts at all. Last but not least, the finished model looks elegant and pleasing enough to cut a fine figure even in direct comparison with its ‘big brothers’ - ship models on a larger scale!
