Brigg Captain Morgen Mini Mamoli
This ship, a typical 17th century brig, was christened with the name of the most famous of all corsairs: Captain Henry Morgan. Supported by the Antilles on behalf of the English Crown, Morgan led various operations against the "buccaneers" (pirates) of Jamaica in the Caribbean Sea against the Spanish and distinguished himself many times over by his courage. He was appointed commander of all English ships in the Antilles, was allowed to call himself Lord Vaughan and finally even received the title of Vice-Governor of Jamaica.
Due to the 3D printed hull made of PLA plastic (polymer+wood particles), the assembly is particularly easy from the beginning. The precise construction drawings on a scale of 1:1 ensure an excellent overview and comprehensibility - there are no misunderstandings or questions! In this way, ship modelling becomes accessible even to children and beginners, because it is simply fun! And yet, in the end, a model proudly stands there that really deserves its name, since it is made exclusively of fine natural woods with brass fittings and completely without plastic parts. Last but not least, the finished model looks elegant and pleasing enough to cut a good figure at any time, even in direct comparison with its "big brothers" - ship models on a larger scale! What's more, it fits on any bookshelf.
The set contains all the necessary components to build the model. The hull is prefabricated and only needs a little work. The add-on parts are made of precious wood and some of them have to be made by yourself. All fittings are made of cast metal. A model stand is not included.
Not included are paints, tools and adhesives.
