This type of ship's shaft can be found on many ships. Part of the shaft runs freely in the water without a stern tube. The occurring forces are absorbed by a bearing in the support at the end of the shaft.
The total length can be adapted to the ship model by shortening the stainless steel shaft. The ship's shaft is supported on the motor side by a self-lubricating bronze bearing and on the propeller side in brass bushes. The maintenance-free shaft system is sealed by a watertight G-ring which is also available as a spare part. The Raboesch support is designed with 3 struts. This allows single-leg or multi-leg supports to be realised, depending on the model and prototype.
The ship's shaft is supplied complete with support, adjusting ring, washer, special nut and assembly instructions.
