Product information "Chris Craft Commander Express Cruiser 1954"

The sleek appearance of the Commander Express Cruiser seems to perfectly reflect the spirit of the times. The buyers were mainly owners of smaller Chris Craft sports boats who wanted to upgrade to a larger and equally fast vessel. The twin drive, which was often sold, gave the small sports cruiser a decent speed. The designer Don Mortrudes, who worked for Chris Craft, made a significant contribution to the design; as early as 1944, he created futuristic-looking designs and studies for Chris Craft boats. The unique design of the Stevens as a "bull nose" characterised other model series of Chris Craft boats.

The Express Cruiser is the first cruiser in the DUMAS Chris Craft series and is offered and equipped in the usual Chris Craft quality. Naturally with complete chrome-plated fittings, the fittings for the superstructure are already perfectly laser-cut in the kit in the best mahogany.

A twin drive can also be installed and is available as an accessory.

If the model is to be converted into a driving model, all you need is a simple remote control and two powerful, fast motors with a controller and a suitable battery pack.
