Ocean tug Atlantic.

Used as an ocean tug in the 70s and 80s to tow large ships such as oil tankers or cruise ships. Tugs became necessary in the 19th century as ships became larger and heavier due to technical progress and were no longer so easy to manoeuvre in docks and harbours.

Our 1:50 scale tugboat kit consists of a high-quality ABS hull and plywood superstructure. All parts are already cleanly and precisely prefabricated using the laser cut process. An extensive set of fittings made of cast metal and etched brass parts is included. The model is suitable for RC operation. The shaft system only has a simple plain bearing, the propeller supplied is made of plastic. The extinguishing cannons can be made functional.

The building instructions are supplied on CD only and contain a comprehensive description with 3D renderings and illustrated step-by-step instructions. A model stand is included.
