Steam Tug Tim

Tim is a steam tug from the early 20th century. The model can be built as a working ship or as a museum ship (with railing). The model impresses with an extensive set of fittings and high-quality etched brass parts allow fine detailing of the model.

There is enough space in the voluminous hull for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be installed as an option. The model can be equipped with lighting. The chimney is - like the original - hinged and can be flipped with a servo. The kit provides for propulsion with conventional brushed motors, but also modern external rotors.

Tim is built entirely of wood. The kit is characterized by the use of the latest laser technology and a high accuracy of fit. The hull is constructed using buckling frame technology and is planked with accurately fitting laser-cut wood.

All wooden parts required for building, ship's shaft, rudder, building slipway, set of fittings, etched parts and detailed 3D building instructions.
