Südersand Tugboat

The Südersand is a 1:20 scale model of a small steam tugboat typical of the tugs of the 1920s and 1930s.

The kit is characterised by the use of the latest laser technology and a high accuracy of fit. The hull is made of thermoformed plastic, the superstructure is made of laser-cut wooden parts. High quality etched brass parts allow fine detailing of the model.

There is enough space in the voluminous hull for the entire RC installation. A smoke generator can also be optionally installed.

The model can optionally be equipped with lighting. The chimney is - like the original - hinged and can be flipped with a servo. The kit provides for the drive with conventional brush motors, but also modern external rotors.

The kit includes a large, deep-drawn plastic hull, laser-cut wooden parts, ship's shaft and propeller, etched parts, fittings such as fan, life ring, fenders, towing hook, lighting fixtures and comprehensive 3D building instructions.
