The Müritz is a replica of a model kit and construction plan that was very popular in the former GDR. The pleasing shape and construction originally came from Karl Schulze. The frame construction with large hull sides makes the model quick and easy to build.
This kit was designed to be equipped with remote control and electric motors used today and fully reproduces the charm of the historic model.
The wooden kit includes all plywood parts already laser-cut, shaft and stern tube, and all material for rudders and linkages. Detailed assembly instructions explain how to assemble the precision-fit laser-cut parts, so assembly should present no problems even for a beginner with experience working with wood.
