Tugboat Banckert kit RC model from Billing Boats

The tugboat "Maasbank" was built in 1965 by the company N.V. Scheepswerven v/h H.H. Bodewes in Millingen a/d Rijn in the Netherlands, on behalf of the company L. Smit & Co.'s International Sleepdienst in Rotterdam. The "Maasbank" served for 12 years in the west of Holland in the so-called 'Europoort'. She took part in numerous rescue operations in the North Sea and towed ships throughout the area from France to Norway. On 1 September 1977, she was handed over to her sister company 'Nieuwe Vlissingen Sleepdienst', which is based in Vlissingen. There she was renamed 'Banckert'.  Length 32.75 metres, width 7.85 metres, draught 3.40 metres. The engine has an output of 1,800 hp.

This kit is equipped with a deep-drawn ABS hull and laser-cut wooden parts. Rudder with Kort nozzle, propeller shaft with stern tube and propeller are designed to be driven by an electric motor. All fitting parts are included with the building plan and instructions.
