Kits of historical ship models from Mamoli

Ship models in museum quality - this is what the model-making manufacturer Mamoli stands for. The family business is dedicated to the design and production of high-quality kits of historical ship models made of wood. Disappeared from the market years ago, but has now been brought up to the latest technical standards and equipped with modern laser technology through the takeover of Dusek.

Historical ship models are developed using old prints and descriptions. Thanks to historical documents, the appearance and materials used for the different types of ships can be reconstructed and presented in a ship model. Mamoli attaches great importance to a faithful reproduction and richness of detail. Whether cogs of the Hanseatic fleet from the 14th century, racy models of sailing ships, schooners from the 19th century or frigates from the 18th century - the historical ship models of Mamoli are a piece of history to touch!

Ship models for beginners and professionals

Mamoli produces model ship kits for beginners, but also for experienced model makers. Each kit is carefully produced with modern laser technology. Double hull planking is standard on Mamoli model ships. The kit includes all necessary wooden components, sailcloth and cast metal fittings. The materials are easy to assemble due to the precise manufacturing process. Detailed construction plans and multilingual building instructions offer good support if required. Mamoli's wooden construction kits are usually floor models that can be admired from all sides.

Model making for children

For children, the manufacturer Mamoli offers its own model series under the brand name MINI Mamoli. Model making is a wonderful hobby for children too, because model making promotes creativity and concentration. Why not share the hobby with your child or grandchild - so you can have a good time together, which your children will certainly remember with pleasure later. In addition, children can learn about history and different eras by playing with Mamoli's historical ship models. The galleon "Red Lion", for example, takes you to 16th century Brandburg Castle. Or the cosar boat "Le Coureur" tells a story of freebooters at the time of the French Revolution! Historical ship model making is always a little journey through time.

L’Orenoque was one of the first French frigates with mixed propulsion (sail and steam) built in 1848. It displaced 2,568 tons. Sloop Puritan
Sloop Puritan
Planned by Edward Burgess, Puritan was a sloop of a little less than 30 metres with a good width and a sliding keel which is characteristic of American boats of that class. She also had a certain draught and part of the ballast was fastened to the keel like English cutters. She was therefore a fairly sure boat. In 1885, under Captain...

Yacht Britannia
