Mini-Jet 20 V2 with reverse function In jet drives, water is sucked in through openings in the hull and ejected at high pressure through a nozzle at the rear. The model is accelerated to remarkable speeds in no time at all thanks to the reaction principle. A special feature is the high manoeuvrability, which is achieved by a movable control nozzle. For reversing the direction of travel, a special valve diverts the water jet without having to reverse the direction of rotation of the shaft/motor. With jet propulsion, neither a propeller nor a rudder protrude from the hull, making it easy to navigate shallow water. Our Mini-Jet 20 is suitable for small and medium-sized model ships. The integrated impeller with 19 mm Ø is driven by a brushless motor. One servo is connected to the control nozzle and the other steers the reversing flap. The Mini-Jet 20 is precisely manufactured from plastic. The stainless steel shaft has two sintered bearings and is sealed with a rubber ring.
