The Galleon San Martin was built in Portugal and became Spanish property in 1580. She was the flagship of the Spanish Armada! On 22 March 1588, the Duke of Medina-Sidona, Admiral Alonso Perez de Guzman, hoisted his flag on the main mast of this ship. The San Martin was one of the ships from which the sinking of the English fleet was led.
Included in the kit are sails, all parts and fittings, pre-sorted by assemblies. Various woods and precision-cut parts allow for accurate assembly and provide a very realistic, detailed appearance. The kit includes a full-colour step-by-step construction manual that shows all the steps in detail. Detailed photos show complicated steps and provide quick orientation.
Tools and adhesives are not included in the kit!
