There is not much to say about the tragic story of the Titanic. Numerous books and films have already covered all the details from the laying of the keel in March 1909 to the tragic sinking during the maiden voyage on 15 April 1912, in which 1523 people lost their lives. The myth of this imposing ship remains to this day and continues to inspire modellers to take on such a large project.
The Titanic kit is a major project for ambitious modellers who are happy to take on a longer construction time to build an outstanding model of this fascinating ship.
This completely revised version of the kit contains photo-etched parts for deck windows, railings, cranes and much more, making the impressive model even more detailed and realistic. The famous glass dome is now made of transparent plastic, which increases the realism, while the funnels are covered with photo-etched parts for a more precise look. The bow has been completely redesigned with a new railing and an improved silhouette. The folding of the deck planks has been reworked to achieve an even more realistic look. The ropes for the bracing and the masts have also been redesigned: They are now made of 0.18 mm black wire and no longer need to be painted.
The model is built in frame construction from laser cut plywood parts. The kit includes a second laser-cut planking for easy and precise assembly.
Numerous construction plans with views also in original size and colour step-by-step instructions show even the smallest details so that no questions remain unanswered during construction.
