DREKI Viking Ship

Despite their small size and very open construction, the ships of the Vikings were quite seaworthy. They enabled the settlement of Iceland and Greenland and the discovery of North America from Scandinavia about 1000 years ago.

This version of a Viking ship is particularly rich in detail and equipment. The model kit contains selected woods that are laser-cut for an exact fit. The hull is planked with clinker planking. All fittings are included in this model. The dragon head at the top is assembled from several parts. Many parts are laser engraved for extra detail. Sail fabric and a template for transferring the kite motif to the fabric are included. The multilingual building instructions are comprehensive and are supported by many step-by-step photos.
