HMS VICTORY (SERGAL a brand of Mantua)
This kit of the famous "Queen of the Seas", made famous by the victorious battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805, is constructed in the imposing scale of 1:78. This results in an overall length of the model of 1300 mm, which allows for an enormous attention to detail. However, the builder should also be aware of the dimensions of the model and perhaps choose a place for it in advance.
The Sergal kit differs from the Panart kit only in the equipment. The hull remains here in nature without copper planking, which has a particularly positive effect on the price. As usual, the wooden parts are cut out precisely with a laser beam, the cannons are turned from brass, ornaments are made from gold-plated castings and the large transom is made from etched brass. The masts and yards are included in the kit as round sticks, as well as plenty of strip material for double hull planking and for the many details. Detailed construction plans and German instructions facilitate assembly. This kit is intended for experienced model ship builders.
Accessories:
834025 set of ready-sewn sails (not included in the kit).
