HMS VICTORY A kit from the Mantua brand Panart The Victory is probably one of the most famous ships of the British Empire. Built in the naval arsenal of Cothan, the ship was launched in 1765. It therefore already had a considerable length of service when it took part in the naval battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805 as an admiral's ship. Under the leadership of Admiral Nelson, the English fleet defeated the Spanish Armada on that day and thus gained supremacy on the world's oceans. This kit is generously equipped with fittings for the copper planking of the underwater hull. The plates are punched out and provided with nail markings. Selected wooden parts and wooden mouldings, laser-cut plywood parts with a precise fit complete this kit, which leaves hardly any wish unfulfilled with its comprehensive set of fittings. The building instructions are included in Italian, English and German, so that hardly any problems can arise during construction. Eight building plan sheets, which contain a wealth of perspective drawings in addition to the main views, facilitate the assembly of this attractive model.
