Berlin frigate kit FREGATTE BERLIN
Brandenburg frigate of the 17th century. The frigate Berlin was one of the first charter ships that the Brandenburg navy placed at the disposal of Hereditary Prince Friedrich Wilhelm. The "Berlin" was built in Zeeland in 1674 and was in the service of the Brandenburg fleet until 1688. In 1676, it was armed with 16 cannons and had a crew of between 70 and 100 men.
The model is modelled on the original down to the smallest detail, with the design of the stern decorations, which were made of gilded cast metal, standing out in particular.

The scope of the kit, in which all parts are already pre-cut, includes numerous accessories as well as 4 detailed construction plans, which reproduce the model true to scale. The comprehensive manual also contains various sketches and photographs to document the model.
Canvas for sewing the sails yourself is included in the kit. Alternatively, a set of ready-sewn sails is available.
