historical ship model kit "H.M.S. PEGASUS"
The HMS Pegasus was a sister ship of the HMS Fly. Both belonged to the so-called SWAN class, of which a total of 25 ships were built between 1766 and 1780. The Pegasus was designed by Williams and her keel was laid at Sheerness Dockyard in May 1775. She was launched on 27 December 1776.
This kit was painstakingly constructed using copies of the original drawings that still exist today. The kit contains brand new etched brass parts (right down to the oars and dinghy fittings and many decorations), laser cut gun mounts, dinghy, etched copper plates for the underwater hull, a remarkable flag set and very detailed drawings, plans and instructions. The frames and keel are laser-cut from 5mm plywood, other parts from solid walnut, walnut plywood or 1mm marine plywood.

Victory Models is a co-operation of Amati and Euromodels with the aim to build models especially true to scale. All wooden parts are laser cut or CNC machined. The fitting parts are produced in the finest cast metal quality and partly by photo etching. Unless otherwise stated, the kits are aimed at modellers with extensive experience in building historical ship models. Instructions and plans guide you through all construction steps.
