Frigate Diana building Kit

The Diana frigate was launched on 10 March 1792. She was one of the so-called "Mahonesas", as the frigates built in Mahän, Menorca, were called. She was faster than her predecessors due to her design features. She took part in the war against France off the Catalan coast. During the War of Independence, her home port was Cadiz. She belonged to the army fleet of La Habana and took part in the battles against the privateers of the Antilles and crossed the Atlantic several times. In 1833 she was scrapped in the arsenal of Cartagena.

The kit contains sails, all parts and fittings, pre-sorted according to assemblies. Different types of wood and precision-cut parts enable exact assembly and ensure a very realistic, detailed appearance. The kit includes a full-colour step-by-step construction manual that shows all the steps in detail. Detailed photos show complicated steps and provide quick orientation.
