Servos
Servos and servo motors for Rc remote controls. The model servo is connected directly to the receiver or controller. The servo motor is supplied with power via the receiver. The electronics of a servo can be analogue or digital. Digital servos are faster and more precise, but consume more power. Servos are needed for steering a rudder or the steering of an RC car. A special form is the sail winch servo. Sail winches turn 360 degrees in several revolutions. The setting force is usually specified in kg or Ncm. Several types of gears are possible. Plastic gears are standard, metal gears are abbreviated as MG. If ball bearings are used, the servo is given the designation BB.
